Other

People like to walk, run and bike the sidewalks and trails of the park. Kwantlen Park has many pleasant spots to take a picnic lunch and enjoy an hour or two outside. The wooded and grassed areas are also popular with dog walkers. RC hobbyists use the Old Yale parking lot, lacrosse box and an un-official dirt track in the south-east corner of the wooded area to test their skills. When it snows, a small hill between the concession stand and the allweather fields is a popular sledding spot. There are two basketball courts and other playground equipment located on the adjoining school properties. The nearest store is a Mac's on the corner of 132 Street and 104 Ave., near the high school. You'll find a pizza shop and a laundromat on the same corner.
